Bennie Crockett, 69, was last seen on August 12, 1977, in Taylor's Grove, South Carolina. He was observed at Rankin's Grocery on U.S. 521 after 7:00 p.m., talking to someone inside a vehicle parked in the median of the highway. This was the last confirmed sighting of Crockett, and he has not been heard from since.
