Ilene Rebecca Scott, aged 6, disappeared on December 20, 1980, from her home in Carson, California. The day after her sixth birthday, she was last seen roller-skating outside her family's residence at the Rancho Dominguez Estates Mobile Home Park. Her roller skates were later found inside the house, but her shoes were missing. Ilene’s mother reported her missing about two hours after she was last seen.
At the time of her disappearance, Ilene lived with her mother and her
mother’s boyfriend, though she reportedly did not have a good relationship with him. However, the boyfriend was quickly ruled out as a suspect after being arrested on unrelated charges that same day. Despite the passage of time, no substantial leads have surfaced, and her family believes she may no longer be alive. Ilene had a brown birthmark on her right hip and a scar on her right eyebrow.
