Nancy Jean Medina, a 36-year-old mother of three, was last seen on August 3, 1984, in Oklahoma City. That evening, she dropped her two younger children off with a babysitter in Choctaw before she planned to meet her eldest daughter to watch movies. However, Nancy never arrived at her destination, and she has not been seen or heard from since. At the time of her disappearance, Nancy was involved in a divorce and a custody battle, which raised suspicions regarding potential foul play.
