Michael Lloyd Reese, 13, went missing on June 3, 1985, while on an outing to East Canyon Reservoir near Morgan, Utah. Michael, who was also known as Lloyd, was accompanied by his friend, 21-year-old David Jaramillo, along with two other friends. The group had planned a day of boating, but at some point during the outing, Michael and David became separated from the others and were last seen driving away in a brown Datsun B210.
