On January 20, 1986, a 22-year-old University of Arizona student named Lorne Karl Landeen vanished from his Tucson, Arizona apartment. A student with plans to become an athletic trainer after graduation, Lorne was reportedly upset and depressed at the time of his disappearance. It is believed that he intended to go for a jog in the Sabino Canyon area. He was never heard from again.
