Angela Renae Ambrocio, a 19-year-old woman, was last seen on November 14, 1986, in Lakeland, Florida. She was dropped off at a Church’s Fried Chicken restaurant by her estranged husband, Avelino "Abel" Ambrocio, following an argument. Angela had asked Abel to take her to Tampa, but after their disagreement, he left her at the restaurant around 4:00 p.m. She has not been heard from since that day.
At the time of her disappearance, Angela was living separately from her husband and staying with a family in North Lakeland. She left behind two young children, one of whom was an infant. Her family, whom she frequently contacted for emotional support, became concerned when they didn't hear from her, and her sister reported her missing five days later, on November 19.
Angela had been living in Polk County since 1979 and was working at a local McDonald's. Despite a thorough investigation, there has been little evidence to indicate what happened to her, but authorities believe foul play may be involved. Angela had no known plans to leave the area, and her sudden disappearance has remained a mystery.
