Rita Mae Hughes, a 29-year-old woman, was last seen on December 8, 1986, at the Trailways Bus Station in Houston, Texas. Her husband had dropped her off at the station so she could catch a bus to visit relatives in Louisiana. According to reports, Hughes appeared to be upset, crying, and acting irrationally when her husband last saw her. However, she never arrived at her intended destination and has not been seen or heard from since.
