Anita Kim Tilden, age 32, was last seen on July 9, 1987, in Raytown, Missouri. The night before, she had called her mother, mentioning that she wasn’t feeling well due to her allergies and planned to go to bed early. The following day, Anita failed to show up for her shift at a hair salon, which was highly uncharacteristic of her. When her family went to check her apartment, they found no signs of disturbance, with just a few dishes in the sink and her glasses left on the table.
