Teresa Lanette Barnett, a 30-year-old woman, was last seen on the morning of August 7, 1987, in Marshall, Texas. Her husband dropped her off at the Eckerd Pharmacy parking lot along Highway 59 around 10:30 a.m. Her vehicle was later found unlocked and abandoned in the same parking lot, raising immediate concerns about her safety. A few days after her disappearance, Teresa's purse was discovered on the side of the road approximately three miles away, at the intersection of South Washington
and Lakeview Drive.
There were no signs of a struggle at the scene, but given the circumstances, foul play is strongly suspected in her case. Despite investigations, no substantial leads have emerged, and her case remains unsolved after more than three decades. Teresa was described as having blonde hair, blue eyes, and wearing glasses at the time of her disappearance. She stood around 5'2" to 5'5" and weighed approximately 105 pounds.
