John Lango, a 17-year-old from Pottsville, Pennsylvania, was last seen on New Year's Day, January 1, 1988. He left his home around midnight after an argument with his girlfriend over New Year's Eve plans. Earlier in the evening, he had been drinking with friends at his house, during which the police were called due to an unrelated altercation. After stating he was "out of here," John left the house, got into a dark-colored car with others, and was never seen again.
