On that day, Campbell had a violent outburst and was taken to the Princeton Hospital Crisis Center (formerly AMI Medical Center) for treatment. However, he left the facility on foot around 10:30 a.m. and has not been heard from since. At the time of his disappearance, Campbell did not have any money, identification, or a vehicle, complicating the search for him.
Campbell suffered from several significant medical conditions, including epilepsy, tuberculosis, and alcoholism. He required daily medication to control his seizures. In addition to these health challenges, he was living a transient lifestyle, which made it difficult to track his movements after he walked away from the hospital. His family lived in the 1700 block of Gammon Lane, where he had resided for about 12 years, though he did not stay in one place consistently due to his transient habits.
Despite efforts from law enforcement and his family, Campbell’s whereabouts remain unknown.
