Shanta Marie Johnson, a 3-year-old girl, went missing on July 19, 1992, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. She was last reported to have been at the Briarcliffe Mall with her foster mother, Susan Marie Johnson, who claimed that Shanta disappeared near the toy section of a K-Mart store at around 3:30 p.m. However, surveillance footage from the store revealed that Susan entered the store alone, with no sign of Shanta.
