Georgios Drakontaidis, a 34-year-old man, was last seen on January 26, 1994, in Virginia Beach, Virginia. On that day, he was attempting to board a coal-hauling ship using an accommodation ladder when he lost his balance and fell overboard. The incident occurred while he was working near the coast, and despite extensive search efforts, Georgios was never found and is presumed to have drowned.
