Jeanie Naomi Lofton, a 21-year-old woman from Carthage, Texas, went missing on April 2, 1994. She was last seen after borrowing her mother's car to pick up medication for her sick baby. Jeanie never returned home, and later that day, her mother’s vehicle was found abandoned near Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church on FM 2517. Inside the unlocked car, authorities found her purse, keys, sunglasses, and the baby’s prescription, with no signs of a struggle.
