On November 9, 1994, a 36-year-old woman named Kaye Francis Reid Hamilton was last seen in Yemassee, South Carolina. A mother, she disappeared from near her home in the Jenkins Road area of U.S. Highway 17. There were no signs of a struggle at her residence, and her car was left behind. It wasn't until several days after she was last seen that her family reported her missing.
