Gail Ann Russell, a 30-year-old mother, was last seen on September 4, 1995, at her family's trailer in Bayonet Point, Florida. She had gone to bed around midnight with her live-in boyfriend, Larry Podolski. At approximately 1:00 a.m., Podolski reported hearing a tapping sound at the window, after which Gail got up to investigate. Podolski fell back asleep, and by morning, Gail was gone.
