Mark Cajski, a 20-year-old biology student at the University of Hawaii at Hilo, was last seen on the morning of July 10, 1996, by his roommate, Richard Speaker, around 6:00 a.m. He failed to show up for his 9:00 a.m. class, and all of his personal belongings, except for his snorkeling gear, were left behind in his dorm room.
