DeAngelo Marquis McNeil, a two-year-old boy from Houston, Texas, went missing on April 17, 1997. His case is classified as an endangered missing person, and foul play is suspected. DeAngelo had been in state custody since he was seven months old after his mother, Patricia McNeil, was incarcerated. In December 1996, DeAngelo and his brother were allowed to live with her again under court supervision.

Investigators believe Patricia's story was false, and suspicion grew after her older son testified that Patricia had beaten DeAngelo with a belt. Patricia was later convicted of child abuse and sentenced to 75 years in prison, though she denies harming DeAngelo.
