Mary Ann Knightly, 28, was last seen on February 18, 1998, at her home in Bear, Delaware. Her husband, Roy Knightly, reported that she packed a bag, stating she needed some time away and was planning to visit her sister in Florida. He claimed that after he fell asleep and woke up a few hours later, she was gone. Despite this, Mary Ann never arrived in Florida, and it remains unclear how she intended to make the trip or what resources she had with her.
