On a winter day in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania, 67-year-old Edmond John Sweeney left his home for a walk and was never seen or heard from again. The date was February 22, 1998, and the quiet disappearance of the 5'5', 150-pound man with balding gray hair and blue eyes would leave a void of information for years to come. Mr. Sweeney simply vanished after telling those at his residence he was going out for a stroll, a common activity that gave no cause for alarm at the time.
