Dorien Deon Thomas, a 9-year-old boy, went missing on October 26, 1998, from Amarillo, Texas. On the day of his disappearance, Dorien was last seen riding his aqua blue bicycle with white tires around his neighborhood near Northwest Ninth Avenue. He had filled his bike tires with air and was reportedly heading to meet a friend. Dorien wore a red shirt and blue jeans at the time, and both he and his bicycle have never been found.
Dorien's family reported him missing more than 24 hours after he was last seen. The circumstances of his disappearance remain unclear, but authorities suspect foul play. Adding to the mystery, in the year before his disappearance, Dorien had discovered a woman's body while playing with friends at a park, a case that also remains unsolved. Despite extensive searches and investigations, no significant leads have emerged in either Dorien’s case or the previous homicides that were potentially linked to his disappearance.
