Pilar Rodriguez, a 3-year-old girl, disappeared on January 30, 1999, while in the care of her babysitter, Melissa Cooper, during a trip to Punta Gorda, Florida. Pilar’s father, Marco Rodriguez, had given permission for the babysitter to take Pilar on vacation for two weeks. Along with Cooper, her boyfriend, Keith Allen Wilson, was present during the trip. When the child failed to return by February 22, Marco reported her missing.
