In the quiet, rural landscape of Lynchburg, South Carolina, the afternoon of March 10, 2000, unfolded like any other for 95-year-old Inez Miller. She was last seen between 3:00 and 3:30 p.m., leaving her residence on Mount Sinai Church Road. A familiar sight to her neighbors, she was accompanied by her adult German Shepherd and two puppies.
