Haifaa Mohamad Assad, a 24-year-old woman, was last seen in Stockton, California, around May 1, 2000. Originally from Syria, Haifaa was of Asian descent, standing 5'8" tall and weighing approximately 145 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Her disappearance is shrouded in mystery, as she was not immediately reported missing. Authorities only became aware that she had been missing for several years in 2007, while they were investigating an unrelated case.
