Misheila Sugel Martinez, age 13, was last seen on July 22, 2000, in Paterson, New Jersey. Her disappearance came just six weeks after her twin sister, Francheska, had also vanished. Francheska had gone missing on June 9, 2000, a day before their 13th birthday, after telling Misheila she was going to the store. Misheila's last known contact with Francheska was through a phone call, where Francheska mentioned being with friends but never returned home.
