On October 5, 2000, in the rural community of Roseboro, North Carolina, four-year-old Tristen Alan Myers vanished from the home of his great-aunt and great-uncle. Known affectionately as 'Buddy,' Tristen was a young boy with blond hair and blue eyes, who had experienced a difficult start in life.
