John Rowan, 34, disappeared under suspicious circumstances from Jacksonville, Florida, on February 23, 2001. Originally from Ireland, Rowan had moved to the U.S. in his twenties and was involved in several successful business ventures, including heavy equipment sales and part-ownership of a pub in St. Augustine.
