Brian Keith Lowery, a 30-year-old Native American male, was last seen on January 9, 2002, in Lumberton, North Carolina. On the day of his disappearance, he had dropped off a tractor at his cousin's home before walking back to the residence he shared with his parents on Russ Road, near Interstate 95. The last known sighting of Lowery occurred around 3:00 p.m. when he was standing near his mailbox. However, he never returned home, and three hours later, his concerned parents reported him missing.
