Brendan Gonzalez, a 4-year-old boy from Plattsmouth, Nebraska, was last seen on January 6, 2003. On that morning, Brendan's father, Ivan Henk, took him outside to play, but both soon disappeared. Later that day, Henk was involved in a high-speed police chase after taking Brendan’s mother's car without permission. The chase ended with Henk crashing the car, but when authorities caught up with him, Brendan was not with him.
