Cherene Alizio, a 32-year-old woman, was last seen on March 23, 2003, during a ferry ride on the *Victoria Clipper* from Victoria, British Columbia, to Seattle, Washington. She mysteriously vanished while the ferry was en route across Puget Sound. Her backpack, along with her passport and identification, was discovered aboard the vessel, but there was no sign of Cherene herself. Despite thorough searches and investigations, no trace of her has ever been found.
