Arkadiy Tashman, a 17-year-old from Staten Island, New York, went missing on January 26, 2005. He was last seen leaving a friend’s house around 2:45 a.m. to head home, but he never arrived. His family found a cryptic note in his bedroom the following morning that read, "Sorry about this. No wake, no funeral." This led to concerns that Arkadiy may have been struggling with depression and possibly suicidal, although those close to him reported no clear signs of this before his disappearance.
