Edmond Tillman, a 14-year-old boy from Brooklyn, New York, went missing on August 10, 2005. He was last seen around 7:00 p.m. in the East Village area of Manhattan after visiting a swimming pool with friends. Earlier that day, his mother had dropped him off at a school so he could take a test to determine whether he could advance to the eighth grade. He did not return home, and no one has heard from him since.
At the time of his disappearance, Edmond was described as 5'3", weighing between 135 and 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He had several distinguishing features, including a pierced left ear, a mole on his left eyebrow, a birthmark on his abdomen, and small holes near both ear canals known as preauricular sinuses.
His mother revealed that Edmond had come out as gay just two months before he went missing, and she accepted him without issue. However, shortly after, Edmond began having trouble in school and would frequently come home late. Authorities believe he may have run away, potentially to the West Village, a neighborhood he frequented. There have been reports suggesting he might be living with friends, and some speculate he may have traveled to San Francisco.
