Angela Y. Reeder, 41, was last seen on August 16, 2005, in Orlando, Florida. She lived with her boyfriend, Willie Green, who had a history of alcohol abuse and domestic violence toward Angela. According to family members, the relationship was tumultuous, often becoming violent when Green was intoxicated. Angela’s daughter reported her missing on September 1, 2005, after not hearing from her for weeks.
When questioned, Green claimed that Angela had simply left him, but he did not know her whereabouts. However, just two weeks after her disappearance, Green abruptly left town and moved to Georgia, leaving behind his belongings. Authorities considered Green a person of interest in the case, although there was insufficient evidence to charge him before his death in 2010.
