Diana Isabel Gonzalez, 14, was last seen by her family on the night of October 14, 2005, in Raeford, North Carolina. The next morning, on October 15, her parents received a phone call from Jose Barrera-Pacheco, a family friend, who informed them that he was in love with Diana, that she was with him, and they would never see her again. Upon checking Diana's room, her parents realized she was missing. A felony warrant for kidnapping was issued for Barrera-Pacheco in June 2006.
