Portia Washington, a 53-year-old woman from West Columbia, South Carolina, was last seen on June 10, 2006, along with her 7-year-old granddaughter, Angelica Livingston. They disappeared from their apartment at Park Place Apartments, where Washington lived with her boyfriend, Kenneth Andrew Lynch. After the disappearance, Lynch was spotted driving Washington's vehicle, a tan 2005 Ford Focus, in El Paso, Texas. He was later arrested in Seattle while attempting to cross into Canada.
