Lynn Sherwood Deibert, a 53-year-old federal ship pilot, went missing on February 4, 2007, off the coast of Lewes, Delaware. Deibert, a highly experienced sailor, was attempting to board the coal freighter *Energy Enterprise* from the pilot boat *Big Stone 5* using a Jacob's Ladder when he fell into the frigid waters of Delaware Bay.
