Joel G. Thompson Jr., 48, an avid fisherman from Lewes, Delaware, disappeared on April 26, 2010. That evening, Joel told his wife that he was heading to his usual fishing spot at the Indian River Inlet. Despite being a seasoned angler familiar with the area, Joel did not return. His fishing pole and tackle box were later discovered on the rock jetty, with his truck still parked nearby.
