Liza Murphy, a 42-year-old mother of three, was last seen on August 19, 2007, in Emerson, New Jersey. On the day of her disappearance, she had an argument with her husband, Joseph Murphy, who accused her of infidelity and demanded a divorce. Liza left their home, walking towards a nearby wooded area, but she left behind her personal belongings, including her cell phone, purse, and medication, which she needed for her fibromyalgia and depression. She has not been seen since.
