In the late summer of 2007, 38-year-old Robert K. Vernier’s life took an unexpected and alarming turn, leaving his family and friends in a state of perpetual uncertainty. On August 28th, he was last seen in Merryville, Louisiana, a small town in Beauregard Parish.
