Shaida Ghaemi was a 44-year-old woman living in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, at the time of her disappearance. She was last seen by her family in the summer of 2007. The last confirmed contact with her was on September 8, 2007. Concern for her well-being grew after she failed to show up for a planned family dinner just two days later, an absence that was reportedly out of character for her.
