Charles Allen Jr., a 22-year-old senior at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, went missing on October 12, 2007, under unusual circumstances. Having legally changed his name to Neo Babson Maximus shortly before his disappearance, Charles was known to be suffering from bipolar disorder and had recently stopped taking his medication. This may have contributed to increasingly paranoid behavior in the days leading up to his disappearance.
