A resident of Alpharetta, Georgia, in the 700 block of Babbling Creek Place, he was last seen in the nearby city of Johns Creek. His sister, with whom he spoke almost daily, grew worried when she couldn't reach him. The silence was out of character for the dedicated UPS employee of 13 years, who was on vacation at the time of his disappearance.
His family's concern deepened when he failed to show up for work the following week, an act they described as highly uncharacteristic. The most alarming sign for his loved ones was that he had seemingly abandoned his two beloved dogs, something they were certain he would never do voluntarily.
The circumstances surrounding Orlando Jordan's disappearance are shrouded in mystery. Sometime after he was last seen, his gold 2004 Nissan Maxima was discovered abandoned in a neighboring county. The vehicle was located in the parking lot of an apartment complex in DeKalb County after the LoJack system was activated.
