In the late morning, a 33-year-old mother named Marlo Moku was at her Hilo, Hawaii home with her boyfriend and their two-year-old daughter. Her boyfriend, who was home for his lunch break, stated that Marlo said she needed to go to the store. She had wanted to take their young daughter with her, but he convinced her to leave the child at home. Marlo left that day and was never seen or heard from again by her family.
