Alexandria "Ali" Lowitzer, a 16-year-old from Spring, Texas, was last seen on April 26, 2010. After finishing her day at Spring High School, she took her usual bus home, getting off around 3:00 PM near her house. On the way, Ali called her mother to ask for permission to walk to the nearby Burger Barn, where she worked, to pick up her paycheck and possibly work a few hours. Although her mother agreed, Ali never arrived at the restaurant, and that was the last time anyone saw her.
Despite initial assumptions that she might have run away, Ali’s family insisted this was out of character. She left behind several important personal items, including her makeup, clothes, and phone charger, and her phone, which she used frequently, went silent around the time of her disappearance. Over time, authorities shifted their focus, considering other possibilities such as foul play, but no significant leads emerged.
Search efforts, including those by the Laura Recovery Center and Texas EquuSearch, involved hundreds of volunteers combing through nearby wooded areas and neighborhoods, but Ali remains missing. Her case remains unsolved, leaving her family and investigators with more questions than answers.
