Michael Lawrence Griffin, an 18-year-old from San Pedro, California, went missing on March 1, 1958, along with his 14-year-old girlfriend, Donnis Marie Redman. The couple had reportedly eloped and were last seen in Las Vegas, Nevada. Shortly after, Griffin's car, a white 1950 or 1951 Dodge Clipper with distinct twin exhausts, was found abandoned in Williams, Arizona, several days later.
Both Griffin and Redman were never heard from again, and the circumstances of their disappearance remain a mystery.
At the time of his disappearance, Griffin was 5'3" and weighed 120 pounds, with red hair and hazel eyes. He had undergone orthodontic treatment, with two or more teeth possibly removed to aid in alignment. The case remains unsolved, with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department continuing to investigate their disappearance.
