Wayne Leroy Thompson, a 32-year-old truck driver from Kearney, Nebraska, disappeared on March 31, 1976. At the time of his disappearance, Thompson worked as an over-the-road truck driver. He was last seen in his hometown of Kearney, and since then, neither he nor his vehicle, a red 1967 Ford 300 pickup truck, have been found.
