Mark Allen Collman, a 21-year-old from Yorkville, Illinois, was last seen on April 3, 1979. On the day of his disappearance, his parents were alerted when his employer called to report that Mark had not shown up for his second-shift job at a local Model Box factory. He lived with his parents in their basement, and his sudden absence without any communication was unusual, especially since he was close to his younger siblings.
