Michael Pfaff, a 28-year-old man from Batavia, New York, went missing on November 5, 1979, in a case that continues to baffle authorities. Pfaff, along with two other men, Albert Zeitler and Richard D. Phillips, was on board a small four-passenger plane. The trio was last heard from when Pfaff, who was piloting the aircraft, sent a distress signal around 1:43 PM.
