James Knox, a 24-year-old man from Warsaw, New York, was last seen on December 9, 1979. Knox, a well-known local resident, had close ties to his family and friends in the small rural community. On the day of his disappearance, Knox reportedly left his home and was last seen in the Warsaw area, but when he did not return home or make contact with anyone, his family grew increasingly worried and reported him missing.
