Cynthia Mae Schmidt, 18, was last seen on August 6, 1986, at the Riverview Trailer Court in St. Cloud, Minnesota. On the day of her disappearance, she was with her boyfriend, Ronnie Bromenschenkel, who was 26 at the time. Both Cynthia and Ronnie vanished under mysterious circumstances, and neither has been heard from since. Investigators initially believed they may have run away, but this theory was reconsidered after years passed with no contact from either individual.
